We are all in the rush to fetch our country the title of superpower as soon as possible but what use is such title when the illiterates outnumber the literates in the country? The more simplified and advanced our country gets, the easier it will be to eradicate illiteracy. Mobile learning has been a remarkable step forward in the field of education and with this step taken, we can dream of accomplishing 0% illiteracy goal for our country.

Mobile learning is our path to the accomplishment of addressing educational problems like improving learning for students, giving them a more vivid and interesting form of learning, which has something more to it than thick books and heavy bags. Since the young generation, today is so active on their smart phones, imparting lessons through these and using them for teaching can fetch amazing results. Mobile learning is just the more advanced format of e-learning. Since laptops and personal computers are not something that everyone can afford, learning via mobile is an open opportunity for one and all, irrespective of their status in society.

With mobile learning, the barrier of age for attaining education will be broken forever and people of all age groups will be freely learning subjects that interest them. It gives a fair opportunity to everyone out there since mobiles and tablets are something everyone can afford. Gender boundaries and physical boundaries will be broken forever and in countries where women are not allowed to attend schools, learning for women will become a much easier task. Mobile learning is simply a revolution in the world of education that is here for the betterment of the society we live in.

Although it hasn’t become a reality yet too study only through mobiles and not attend classes, yet there are some mobile education applications that are there in the market, which provide study materials to students for various competitive examinations, courses and some even enable them to make PowerPoint presentations on their smartphones. The world has come a long way in the field of education. Gone are the days when people didn’t have paper to write on since today, we are at a point where people don’t need paper anymore to write on.
